  5. speed by hitting 30 home runs and
  6. stealing 30 bases in a single season
  7. -- five times! But in 1990, Barry
  8. accomplished his own major league
  9. first. While leading the Pirates to the
  10. National League Eastern Division title,
  11. Barry became the first player in major
  12. league history to hit .300, drive in 100
  13. runs, score 100 runs, hit 30 homers,
  14. and steal 50 bases -- all in the same
  15. season. Since then, a lot of people
  16. know Bobby Bonds as "Barry BondsΓÇÖs
  17. dad."
